Why isn't that a pickup line?

Maybe the line is, "hey babe, I'm an astrophysicist. But you can tell your mom I'm a brilliant astrophysicist tomorrow morning."

I don't know if that makes sense but I'll assume not.

"I'm an astrophysicist. When drunk, I'm a brilliant astrophysicist."
